I'd like to see a good Spoon article. I've been a fan for years, and from what I gather, the two dudes do most all (if not all) the tracks are played and recorded by them. Really inventive and clever music, they're kinda blowin up a bit more now I think too.

I can't be certain on any of this, and THAT'S why we need a good interview done.

That's a link to an index of all the articles and gear reviews we've done. Please read that before posting about wanting us to interview people we have already talked to in the past.

ahh, so Spoon was covered, I guess I need to find issue #27 then.

In that case, I vote for Boards Of Canada.. Cause they rule.

Kurt Ballout-God City Studios/Converge-Gospel-TransistorTransistor
Matt Bayles-Isis-Botch-Mastadon

These guys make great sounding records for bands that are still looking for modern heaviness. It'd be nice to see some coverge of engineers/studios like this that are dealing with more aggressive sounds.

Pinback-These guys record their own albums and they sound great. I'd love to know what their process is like and some of their secrets.

dave wright! i've always thought he would be a good fit for tapeop, but since he appeared at tapeopcon, now even more so.

also, neil halstead (slowdive / mojave 3), and a second vote for chris carter or peter christopherson :)
