Long time caller, first time listener. Mine arrived last night, but I was too wiped out to read it.

got mine the other day. read it cover to cover (as usual). thanks to AH for the review of the monotonic lab's U73 synth (i know what's on my christmas list). also, great to see richard lloyd in print (even though i've heard that andy johns drumkit story a million times, it's still cool to see it in tapeop).

I just got to the CD reviews and was elated to see a glowing review of The Resntments disc. I have had the extreme pleasure of sharing the Sunday night bill at the Saxon with them a few times and Larry's assesment of the amount of tallent in that band was, if anything, a gross understatement.
They are all so ridiculously good I often had to scrape my jaw from the floor after thier set before I could get my rig on stage.
I was also overjoyed at the nod to John and Mary at Tophat. They are both beautiful people and they run a wonderful shop. Recording there was easily my best studio experience ever.
My only question is, when are we going to see a Tophat article in Tape Op?
