hey yeah...i just got #59. but no #58. something definitely fishy about all this- first time i've noticed a thread with this kind of "hey me too" (actually "hey me neither") tone, 4 pages long and counting. what's up, tapeop folk? did the US mail accidentally drop off a big package in Bolivia? (not that i have anything against Bolivia- heck, I'm sure there's a recording studio or two in La Paz, but the thought that some greasy-fingered Bechtel lawyer in Cochabamba could be idly flipping through the pages of MY issue while takin' a break in the men's room, well...)

Same here. 59 just showed up. 58 is MIA. How peculiar....

Just got #59, and I'm off to order #58. At least now I know I don't need to resubscribe.

We don't know what happened, if something did happen beyond random chance. We obviously can't remail to everyone (the first class postage alone would kill us) and we probably only have a few hundred. Tonevendor does have it, and John will send some extras there and to TapeOpCon.

Larry- don't give too many away at the conference. And get the back issue link going so those of us with #59 but not #58 can take care of business.

Even if we pay for the back issue, we're still ahead. And grateful. Really.

I've also been in contact with John B about this and he's very concerned as well. He's making sure that as many are available can get into people's hands.

I figure I'll get mine at the conference.

Got # 59 today, but didn't get #58.

No worries about # 58. I friend in CHicago is gonna mail me his copy. He's into Feng-shui and doesn't like too much clutter

Still have never seen #58 down here in south Louisiana. I'm hoping there will be enough issues of it to get one as a back issue. 59 has not gotten here yet, but that I can understand. I think it's time to do a paid sub. Just got to go see how to accomplish that.

OK, so I just went and bought a paid subscription. When I went to the back issues page, number 58 was not on it, as an available back issue. I'm wondering if this means some time has to pass before it gets offered there, or, am I just out of luck becuause they have all been sold????

You could order #58 from ToneVendor like I did.

Thank you John, I just did exactly that. I thought I had the link, but I guess I didn't till you gave it to me. :)

PS this is where it's getting weird. I put the whole thing through, and got the page with the receipt on it, where they ask you not to refresh, so I bookmarked the page, and then collapsed it with the red dot top left on my iMac. Then, when I went to check the bookmark, I got an error page, and since I've not gotten an email, I don't know it it went through or not. The paid sub went through fine, with an email confirm too. Oh well, Maybe I can get them by phone on monday. Even stranger my SE at Sweetwater emails me just as this is taking place, saying he thinks he might have a copy of it. Strange world. Fingers crossed.

PPSI tried again and this time it worked. If I wind up with more than one #58, I'll make that fact known if I can help anyone. I may have failed to do something on my first try,,,going too fast.
