Well...I guess noone else is excited about this. Oh well, guess they'll have to cancel. 8)

Actually, this fellow Michigander is pretty stoked about it. I have a real strong aversion to flying and am pretty psyched that it's drivable. Long drive - but doable (16 hrs. according to Mapquest), so it's in my plans.

Maybe I should plan on renting a minivan and put out a call for a Michigan Tapeoppers road-crew to make the trip down there.

Actually...joking aside, that's not a bad idea...

I was so looking forward to it (last year was my first) until I found out my wife's cousin is getting married in NC that weekend, which I thought was supposed to be in May. Turns out they thought it would be cute to get married on 6/7/08. Grrrr...

I won't be there. Playing a gig that I love doing every year that starts that weekend.

This west Michigander might be able to car pool with you. We could make a mini documentary about the adventure. A powerbook, video cam, and Snowball are all we need. We'll meet in Lansing.

I really want to make it this year. I'm pretty sure a few of my friends will be there. If work keeps going the way it has been I might actually be able to afford it! I've been really wanting to do this for a couple of years, and now that it's coming back to NO I need to make it. It will be less than an hour drive for me.
