I love that too. Someone on this board said that they like a little rattle on the snares and that it makes it sound bigger and it does.Tragibigzanda wrote:Great read, thanks! He also said that on his 13 and 14 toms he used calfskin heads. That must be why the drums are so damn warm and leather-y sounding on tunes with all those great drum breaks like Hate It Here. Wish I had some damn calfskin.....Scratch that....I wish I were half as good as him!!
