Nope. Not in Tape Op. Google it. There's a lot of stuff out there plus the "New Moon" press I did last year.

Try that. It's like a frequent self-interview.

As Larry said, there's tons of stuff out there. He'd have to get way more personal than he would want or than we'd probably want to read, in order to say anything that he hasn't already said in other interviews elsewhere.

You should definitely hit up Google, though. There's a lot of great stuff out there.

Yeah, the Tape Log is a good place for more opinions than anyone needs. I can't possibly imagine having someone interview me to appear in Tape Op. Aren't the end rants, intros, Tape Log and such enough? An interview in my own mag would be one of the most self-absorbed jerk-offs I can imagine. Like I'd commission the damn thing, then edit my own comments, and then run it instead of an interview with George Martin or something. Holy christ.

That kind of humility might be a bit of what has kept Tapeop amazing for so long.

Yeah really. Who the fuck is Larry Crane? Oh whoopie, look: he engineered a couple of Northwest indie bands 6 years ago. And he sunk a bunch of money into a studio he barely uses - sounds like some rich kid shit head. Then he has the audacity to edit some stupid recording mag and claim he knows ANYTHING about recording music. Probably does all this BS so he can shake George Massenburg's hand or eat a big, meaty dinner with Steve Albini. What a poseur fuck.

If by 'high comedy' you meant "requires the help of illicit substances in order to be even remotely funny", you're probably right.

"requires the help of illicit substances in order to be even remotely funny",
I thought that substance made things funny to you, I didn't know it worked the otherway around?
