I have to say..... that was a great read!
As a kid growing up on am radio and Captain & Tennille, then later digging all of the great punk bands in the area - including the knuckle headed fun of the Surf Punks, this was a real eye opener.

The great musical thread of those cats is what makes music such a blast.

When I read that article I had to go back 3 times and read that he was actually the Captain. What an interesting career. It shows how music used to just be about music and you could jump styles and it wasn't an issue and "pop" was not a bad word.

Those 2, (actually the whole family) is a good lesson for us.
Play as much music as you can.

The Haden family (Charlie, Petra, Josh etc.) would be a great article as well.
