And keep in mind, the more I see people complain about something the more I might find it interesting to put in the mag. I've got one up my sleeve that may make y'all pissed off no matter how open minded you claim to be...
Larry- if anything, the articles are usually so good, there's very little reason to complain or criticize. Mostly, and I think I can speak for a lot of people, it gives us plenty to chew on, and by the time we may have things to bring up, the next issue shows up!

If you want us to give you more frequent positive feedback, say the word and we'll take some initiative to set up topics here. We REALLY appreciate the mag! :D

I'd really like to read this article and write a post about it on my site. I signed up for the free subscription AND sent an email via the contact form, but so far I have been unable to get a reply from anyone at TapeOp. Hopefully writing in this board will get someone's attention and they will contact me?

Wings . . . who cares about the fuggin wings?

The first song on MICHIGAN is a really good song.

Well, they WERE Paul McCartney's other pretty good band.

Do you think they'd come for Larry with pitchforks if he did a Wings piece?

I think Pitchfork Media might revoke Larry's cool license. . .

--Who are Wings?
--They're only the band the Beatles could have been!

One of my favorite Alan Partridge quotes.
I've never had a request in the studio to make it sound like Sufjan Stevens (or pretty much any other indie rock band for that matter) but plenty of requests to make it sound like Wings, and I mostly record indie rock...

musicians are fuckers, but even worse are people who like musicians, they're total fuckers.

Man, same here. Always classic rock/classic punk/Motown/Stax getting referred to, except for maybe Radiohead a number of years ago!

A boy can dream I guess

I read some of Suftjan's lyrics and I am a fan. Especially of the Biblical references and his sence of reverence. I'm glad this article got mentioned here, I just kinda skimmed it in the mag.
