How well do you know Tape Op letters page and/or interviews?

Odd request...

I am looking for a quote from a Tape Op article. It was "all I hear are the mistakes." It would have originally been in an interview and was quoted in the letters section in a subsequent issue.

I don't have access to all my Tape Op issues where I currently live and was hoping someone might have the specific issue that either of these occurred in so I could pull it from storage.

I don't remember who was interviewed but I know the letter quoting it was on the left hand page, first column.

I finally found an answer to my own question - over a year later, randomly flipping through back issues of Tape Op to read while eating dinner.

Issue 16, Jim O'Rourke interview - "Jim was laying on the ground and just shaking his head saying, 'Oh my god, all I hear are the mistakes'"

letters column of issue 17 - left hand page, first column.

A perfect quote for an upcoming chapter of ...fence posts rotting in the acreage.. book 3
