I don't imagine Tape Op would ever be NOT printed on paper!

tho, you may save some trees, and printing costs going the pdf route, then again, you may lose some paid subscriptions if the pdf's get pirated. if that is even an issue with a basically free mag.....
it may seriously up the #of readers to go pdf, but tracking them will prob. be harder.
really though, i live traveling, often in places without wifi, and it would be awesome to have a stack of pdf's in my HD rather than a stack of beat up old mags in my van.
i would love it...

TapeOp in PDF would be great.

It would be especially beneficial to younger engineers who never had access to older issues to begin with.

PDF version would be great for me right now because I was thinking about the gear review for some small Tascam monitor speakers, but can't recall what model they were and wanted to look at the TapeOp review online cuz I'm thinkin' about buying some...(lost sale).

how are we looking on the PDF version of the magazine? I've moved to Southeast Asia and have been sorely missing my TapeOp subscription since I moved here.

It'll be done when it is done. A lot of work is required, and of course there's no immediate money coming in to cover something like this. Maybe eventually. we are working towards it and we will announce it when ready.

The review should be online, actually.

I'm dreaming about possibility to buy TapeOp to Apple Newsstand. That would rock!.

I'd pay the normal subscription fee for a PDF version of TapeOp. Most of the mail here goes missing so at the moment I'm not getting it.
