Hello Tapeop,
Would you run an interview with Steve Barncard, find out what he's been doing since making American Beauty and other Bay Area records? Maybe Dan Healy or Bob and Betty? How about a few words from Ousley?
Thanks,
Ricky
P.S. Love this magazine.

Steve is in the TO DO list! Owsley Stanley? Well. I dunno about that one!

Glad to hear Steve Barncard is on your list. Some of Owsley's ideas about sound may have worked their way into modern loudspeaker design and use. I think some of his early live recordings may be good examples of capturing moments in time and place, and to hear his take on how when and where could be entertaining if not instructive.
