Tape Op Cover Art

Post by BlytheRocks » Tue Mar 22, 2011 7:48 am

(I did try searching for this on the internet and through this forum, and found no answer, so I'm very sorry if this is a redundant topic.)

Is there an artist who primarily does the Tape Op covers? I love the edgy renditions of recording gear, and was hoping that maybe somewhere, I could either buy prints, or view a gallery of their work.

Thank you!

not at all, john (the publisher) chooses art from lots of different artists and other sources...

you could email john@tapeop.com and ask him if there's something specific you're interested in and he could possibly point you in the right direction... just be patient for a response, he's a very busy guy...

The art comes from all sorts of submissions. Most issues will have the artist's name and a URL or email in the masthead. If none is there John probably created it.

We're so happy to do this instead of some dork sitting at a console....

I really love the art. I'm always down for the new t-shirt, coffee mug or whatever too.

I was excited to see the cover art this issue (#82) and thought of Allen Farmello immediately. I am happy to see the article about his console online!
