Chris Owens interview

Post by Brett Siler » Tue May 31, 2011 3:32 pm

I was pretty excited to see an interview with Chris Owens this issue of Tape Op! I've booked for and played shows with Lords (not in the band, but opening or closing shows in my own bands) over the years. Chris has always been a cool dude. I remember hitting up a bar after a show we played together and talking about geeky recording stuff for hours. His recordings have always had an interesting take on punk and hardcore. Thanks for the interview, it made for a good read!

Thanks Brett! Glad you dug the interview.

I didn't get a correction to Larry in time, but last month Chris packed up, sold his DDA, and moved to LA(!). He's working on getting settled there.

Whoa! Dang man... I haven't seen him in about a year, but I hope all works out for him. Is he still doing Lords then?

I actually don't know! I can probably get him to check in here with an update.
