Please Interview Tom Brenneck!

Thomas Brenneck - guitarist for Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Budos Band, and Menahan Street Band. Legend has it he recorded Menahan's "Make the Road by Walking" with a couple 57's, one 545 on the drums, an Otari MX5050 and a Tascam mixer. That album sounds amazing and I'd love to know more about how they did it. That they can make such good recordings with such affordable gear is really inspiring.


I'd also love to see you interview Will Holland (quantic). "I'm Thankful" off Spanky Wilson and the Quantic Soul Orchestra's 2006 album has been stuck in my head for months and I'm always happy to hear it rollin' around in there. He also does a lot with an MX5050 and minimal mics/outboard.
