Interview Idea

Post by losthighway » Fri Nov 30, 2018 5:27 am

You guys should interview Tom Schick.

He seems like he's pretty much the Wilco house engineer now, so he's done the last few of their records. As well as a bunch of Jeff solo stuff, Mavis Staples, Iron and Wine, Glen Hansard done at the Wilco loft. Before that he did a bunch of stuff with Norah Jones.

Anyway it'd be interesting because he's really good, and I'm curious what it's like to work something like full time in an artist's studio where they go daily to write and develop demo ideas that gradually become albums. Kind of an unusual gig.

How funny. I just saw this but I'm hoping it'll happen soon. I might be in Chicago next month.....
