#146 Chad, Lindsay, Lukather!

Post by roscoenyc » Thu Nov 25, 2021 9:39 am

I always enjoy the magazine but this issue has some really great stuff.

Great to learn that Lindsay Buckingham's been using the same Neotek console since "85 or 86".

Chad Clark's 2nd interview in the mag is cool and Steve Lukather really lets loose on critics and people who don't understand what session musicians really do.

Thanks as always for the great mag.

the lindsey buckingham was really nice, seemed a consumate artist, i loved how he wasn't interested in the technical aspects of recording, he just was making art and continuing to refine it. its refreshing to see people still do that, spending too much time on the interwebs and sometimes one can get caught up in the "this gear this sound" thing.

I really liked the hearing aids part of the Lukather interview. It's important, a lot of musicians (and engineers) have had significant hearing loss and there's a huge stigma around it.

Especially the folks that waited a long time to start using protection for live gigs.
