I gotta say, Chris, those pictures are awesome. What kind of camera are you using? All I see is record cover art. Wow!

Thank you for the compliments!

The camera was a Canon 30D with a 50mm f1.8 lens. Most of those were shot at 3200iso. I wish I'd have had a tripod!!

Holy crap, Chris! Those pictures are amazing, especially considering the lighting in that place. So, did you wind up working anything out on that amp for your buddy?

How did you get the Chicago Store pictures to come out that good with all that dank lighting?

If the conference is in Tucson next year, I'm bringing my tripod and film cameras to the Chicago Store. That place is sick! I found a 1968 Kasino bass amp there that was brand new (they just took it out of the original box). My friend lost his during Hurricane Katrina when it was under floodwaters for two weeks, and has had the hardest time finding another one. Needless to say, it's on its way to New Orleans.
FANTASTIC!!!!!! this kind of style i prefer over the ordinary documentary/coverage type of thing.
thanks for sharing these!!!

You should post some of the pictures you took from the plane on the way in!

Hey Chris George. Seriously beautiful work. If your ears are as good as your eyes, watch out!

And I love your MCI renovation.

Chris, those photos and the ones on your site are seriously great. You have a really great eye for composition. Seeing all your stuff makes me want to grab my camera and take some photos!
