I didn't get much 'cause I only had my crappy camera phone, but i did snap this one of the Pot Luck Studio equipment racks. It was sick how much amazing gear was in that room.

I'll put some of mine up tonight. I have many great shots of Larry, Andy and best of all Eveanna getting wet in the dunk tank. Eveanna is a professional at taunting.

ok, that's the last time i let the conference slip by due to a tight schedule and short funds. next year i'm going even if it breaks the bank and cancels projects. i'm sick of looking at pictures of you all having a great time without me and telling stories of audio geek-outs, etc..., knowing that i passed because of some trivial, temporal commitments.

Yeah... it was worth every penny that I will be paying back one day. The amount of lernin' and all the amazing people I met far exceeded the debt I let myself slip deeper into.

As I told Larry, TapeOp 2006 came in a healthy second to an experience I had with two Czech chicks in Amsterdam. 2nd.

Mine are here: http://www.thelivingroomstudio.com/chri ... p-con-2006.

If the conference is in Tucson next year, I'm bringing my tripod and film cameras to the Chicago Store. That place is sick! I found a 1968 Kasino bass amp there that was brand new (they just took it out of the original box). My friend lost his during Hurricane Katrina when it was under floodwaters for two weeks, and has had the hardest time finding another one. Needless to say, it's on its way to New Orleans.
