mBox/Logic

Post by brightpavilions » Mon Oct 16, 2006 8:19 pm

Just curious...

Been using ProTools LE for a couple years now and I've just grown increasingly frustrated with Digidesign as a whole. So I regularly use an original mBox and sometimes have access to an 002. Would either of these be compatible with the newest version of Logic. Running this on a dual processor G5 10.4.x

Thanks.

i don't think there are any hardware limits on logic. i could be totally wrong though.

normally the digidesign stuff is very proprietary. i doubt it it would work but you should check it out. i used to use an mbox with pt le on OSX (G5 10.3). before i swiched to mackie onyx w/ firewire and tracktion i was able to download some driver, can't remember what, that allowed me to use my mbox w/ garageband. do a internet search. maybe you could get it to work.

heh, haven't used PT on a mac since like, v6, but read up a bit for a recent thread regarding using a 001 in the same fashion..
