Here's a BETTER MIXED NEW SONG - using the Glyn Johns method, that seems to sound pretty killer. The recording came out great even though there is a ctually a mistake - the "font" mic was left off by accident.
What does everyone thing of this one:
Disclaimer - this tune was whipped up pretty quick during practice the other night. The performances are rough as we were just "hitting record" to capture our idea. The word & melody were being worked out on the fly.

Sounds damn good, man (even w/out a "font" mic)! Nice song, too!

Thanks Evil! The tune sounds really good with headphones. You can really hear the Tel-Ray delay on the vox and guitar solo. Kinda gives it a live feel.

Sounds nice even on a crappy computer...I'm digging the guitar sound...What's the story on it?
Of course I've had it in the ear before.....

Sounds pretty good to me. So what mics were used and where?
Edit: I just found your other post so please don't feel the need to answer unless something has changed in the setup.
Thanks
Will

I must confess, because it's a pre-production demo, the guitars are one Les Paul Classic through a Universal Audio 2-610, and then into Amp-Farm, using a Matchless model. Once we record the keepers, the same guitar will run though a Marshall JTM-45 modified by David Bray. I'll post when done.
