New Onyx 400f driver is out

People are already complaining about higher latency, though the release notes promise lower. Personally, i'm gonna wait a week and see what happens.
CHAINING MULTIPLE UNITS IS NOW SUPPORTED

The day has come, I have been waiting and waiting and cursing(mostly cursing), but it's here. Not a moment to soon, I was about to send my 2 Delta 1010's to 'Black Lion' for the mods, and sell my 400f. Now if evreything works I will sell my 1010's. I have already ordered my second 400f for $540.00 (it's good to be a Mackie dealer). Well let me know if any troubles arise.
thanks ryan
thanks ryan

Wow, my Latency is increased, is this right? I read on a Mackie Forum that the diffrence is a more acurate reading of latency. It sure doesn't feel worse, everything seems to run a little smoother. Also I have never had different in/out latency, output latency runs about 30% faster than input in Nuendo 2.23.

They are working good for me as well.
I used to have about 50ms latency going into Tracktion according to it's latency detection, now I have about 3.5ms, which astounds me. It seems slightly less consistent though, my readings change ever so slightly when I reboot my system. Not sure if this is normal or not, but it's not really a big deal.
This is using two 400f's, which are also getting separate latency readings, even if only different by .5ms or less. When I adjust for this in Tracktion everything was perfect, I tested the phase and it was all good between the two.
They also added an ASIO analyzer.

Yeah, I'm thinking they actually did this right. Quite a relief. I think yes Ryan, it's supposed to be the latency reading is more accurate, thus appears higher, but in actual usage it's slightly faster. I don't really notice a difference myself, but my recording habits are pretty low-impact...I never even think about latency.
Hey inverseroom, do you use the 'time adjust' feature in Tracktion on the inputs with your 400f?inverseroom wrote:Yeah, I'm thinking they actually did this right. Quite a relief.
