this was sent from a friend in Nashville, and sadly NOT a joke! It would be Borat kind of brilliant, huh?
Friends of his have contacted "Little Piggy Studios" as a lark and now actually have time booked there!

oh man, how clever do you think you are right now? the guy even calls it a mastering studio at the end of the post.

this is all over recording boards lately, and without fail there are tons of people that don't understand anything but blue collar comedy humor and can't fathom that this is a parody.

I bet they don't even know:

A. Do you know what pitch/frequency hrz is Am 4 th octave, E5?
B. What are the 11 things that make a great mix?
C. What are the 4 pyramids that make the square of tools & dynamics?
D. What is the tempo vs delay time in 120 bpm, 90 bpm? (for different instruments to sound tight )
E. In which frequencies lay the muddiness in different instruments, so you take them out to have a clean mix?
F. Where is the Sonic Boom/Low Freq/Rumble? Which hertz, How much to take out? How much to pull up the bass or lower to get the exact right levels and Hertz ?

WOW! I didn't realize how much knowledge I was missing! Incredible!

The 11th thing to make a great mix: THE MIX!! ACK! So simple, and yet so...so... :!: :?:

That is so classic. I just assumed it was a super-dry, sort of elaborate spoof (and, as such, way funnier to me than the ones that are obv. a joke). But then I saw someone posting that they know it's real...unless they're in on the joke too... 8) Seriously I can't believe this is real...the whole posting of a pop-filter as a prominent gear choice just smacks of someone poking fun at the Craigslist "studios".
Price includes use of two Maxell XLS II master cassettes (tracking)
Sweet!

C'mon, it's obviously a spoof.

Yeah...I read it again after I posted and laughed even more. The bleak picture of some non-descript dingy corner of a room posing as 'The Studio" pretty much puts it over the top.
