Hey folks,
'Been idly daydreaming about my Vox Continental II organ (which, incidentally, i swapped for a crappy Commodore computer - great deal), which has been sitting gathering dust due to a serious tuning problem. It sits a good quarter tone above where it should be, and opening the hood simply reveals an ungodly mash of wires (what, no road map?). It sounds really great - i even used to record entire tracks with all the other instruments tuned up, just to get THAT sound on the record.
Anybody had experience of retuning one of these, or similar?
Richie.

I had a vox Jaguar that had the same issues. There was a card for each note and each card had a coil with a screw adjustment in the middle. You turn the screw to change the pitch. Make sure to use a plastic screwdriver. A metal one reacts with the coil and will give you a false reading on the tuner.

Ahhh, thanks for all your help, folks. That definitely sounds like the solution. My first obstacle is plucking up the energy to clear out the mounds of detritus stacked up in front of the beast!
Thanks again - and now i have an urge to blow cash on a Farfisa....damn.
Richie.
