Trident S80 Power Supply issues

Post by bassist001 » Wed Sep 19, 2012 8:26 pm

So, just got a Trident S80 Producer Box. The power supply has been blowing I guess. I opened it up and can see the issues, but the problem is that someone has worked on it before. So I'm not sure what they did to it haha So I'm curious if anyone has any info on this thing. I haven't been able to find any info what so ever on the power supply :( Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Thos things came from the Oram side of the Trident family, so documentation might be hard to come by. Build quality might also leave something to be desired.

Any chance you can post some detailed internal photos? Something where i can read the markings on the regulators and PCB?

A full-on PSU replacment wouldn't be out of line, and might be easier than salvaging the one you've got. Any idea what the rail Voltages are?
