Look what you've been missing!!!

eBay auction wrote:The Pleiades mastering amplifier gives gentle high quality tube overload compression. At ordinary levels it is as clean and transparent as it ever gets. This increases average level while keeping peaks the same due to instanteneous limiting action as on broadcasting signal conditioning. Your signal is then ready for A to D convertion and will sound loud and dynamic.

Tubes can make a recording sound loud, lively and dynamic.

Specifications:

Bandwidth <<0>>MHz (DC to RF)

12V extremely low noise battery operation

Power consumption < 7W

So cheap just for the schematics.

Sadly, the components are probably on Mars, and impossible to get easily.
Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.
