Finally got a chance to listen to some of the examples posted here. Pretty cool! Jesse, yours was just seamless.
Part of what took me so long to listen was that we were trying to make a video for the Tiny Desk Contest. Mostly as an exercise in recording a video. Awfully tricky to capture audio of electric guitar, fiddle, and vox (no PA) from the distance we needed to place the camera for the visuals. Learn something new every day. The thing is that the song we decided to do for the video is the one with the chain. I'd love to be able to do it live but I'm already playing guitar, harmonica, and stomp. I need another arm or something 💪.

Just used some chains on a track I recorded and mixed called "Ghosts":

Tow chain from the auto body shop downstairs, a pair of 2x4s, a Soundelux iFet7 a couple feet back thru a CAPI V26, and you too can have Marley's ghost playing percussion.
