What are your thoughts on this board, especially in 2017, when even a well- kept one likely has issues?

Theres one of these boards at my local music go round for $129. It looks in okay shape. Chances are it will need some sort of recapping.

Hard to find a cheaper way to add channels to your rig. Sound is relative. Its probably fine.

Hey there,

This was the first console I ever owned. I used it in conjuction with a 16 i/o PTLE system. I didn't really have much to compare it to because i was such a novice at the time. Now, after working on different and much better consoles, I can say that the ramsa was definately a good value. The other day I was listening back to some things I did on it and was happily surprised with how it sounded. The problem is that most, but not all, of the I/O on this thing is RCA, which is very annoying. Unbalanced inserts, etc. I think it can only hit 8 busses at once. Mine had no problems, and worked perfectly.
