Voltage: How much is too much? Do I need a regulator?
Voltage: How much is too much? Do I need a regulator?
The power in my space is pretty clean and reliable but it comes in hot... like ~127. Do I need to spend a thousand bucks on a voltage regulator? I sure would rather buy a mic, but ya know.

You should be fine.

Howling at the neighbors. Hoping they have more mic cables.

I have a few tube amps that were designed for use with 110v AC, and the typical 125v in my space isn't ideal for them. I use a bucking transformer specifically for this gear, otherwise I don't worry about it.
127v is 105.8% of 120v, well within tolerance for anything designed to that standard.
