I'm very interested in these, but when you say any CK series, do the CK61, CK63 fit? They are a different size.
Also, what about Jim's idea for a Schoeps converter ring.
Thanks for doing this--it is so common in the camera world.

Hi DrDave,

Yes, the CK thing is a little confusing. I think on the first or second page of this thread I listed the CK capsules compatible. I just saw a pickure of a CK6, witch appears to be a CK5 with a Pattern switch on the mesh screen. But the CK61/63 or any capsule that was made for the AKG 460/480 will NOT fit on the adapter, the Body tube diameter and thread pitch are defferent.

As for the Schoeps, I would need to see one and measure the diameter and thread, as well as the way the contacts are made to the capsule.

Thanks so much,
Chip

Hi All,

Update - I have about 12 Adapters not spoken for - up for Grabs

Also - now that a few of you have them - any reports on different capsules and how they sound ?

I got CK1 capsules, and I've done the cap upgrade on both of my 603s (that I think I saw posted here at one time or another).
