Hi Leigh,
thanks a lot for finding those pictures and going through the work of posting them.

They will be very helpfull.

I might try doing these mods to one of the preamps,
and using an 2520 in another one.

I just don't know if I could take the output from the 1588B directly to the 2520 input and from the 2520 output to a transformer.

a 2520 Kit is around $17 so thats not too expensive

Hi,
I'm about to mod my 1592A with direct outs and I would like to know if the 1K pot should be log or linear?
Also I'm thinking to modding the first 4 channels in a way that the speech / music switches will select between passing the signal to the direct out or to the master section.
Can I do that after replacing the 1M pots with 1K pots?
