When the band is in the room, and the intern says; "We were talking in the other room, and we think you need to ____________."
What's this "we" crap?
Have the common sense to NOT make this confrontational and adversarial... This kind of comment should be between the engineer and the intern ONLY... and quietly-away from the band, at that.
Whether it's "we" or just the band that has an opinion, they should really be expressed as "the band thinks...", or "the band expressed..."
Work WITH the engineer, and you'll keep your gig. Work against the engineer, and guess what?
