What microphones work best for a live mic for a group of 6 or more vocalists that need to be using a single microphone? I need something that sounds great for vocals, picks up an area, and still will not have horrible feeback problems for a live situation.

maybe a mic with a fig. 8 pattern? position it so that the pattern is perpendicular to the monitor and have half of the vocalists on either side of the mic. i've never tried this, so this is just a guess.

6 is a lot. I have been happy with the Shure BG 4.1, which goes for dirt cheap on ebay. A lot of people use the AKG something or other..... But I've been real happy with the shure.
