Question about Tascam br 20

Post by klute » Sat Jan 14, 2006 2:51 pm

I am borrowing a friend's Tascam br 20, 1/4" 2 track. I use it to mix down from my Tascam ms 16. I want to calibrate it but I can't find the pots to do it. I even took off the back panels. What gives? Anyone have an answer or a manual? Thanks

as far as I can tell the manual doesn't say:

Thanks a lot for the download. That is nice of you. But, I'll be damned; no mention of calibration!

I think you need to keep pulling panels until you find the pots. I used to own a 3340, and I recall the adjustments were under the bottom panel - but it's been a LONG time....

Also, check for a piece of foil backed paper - I had a revox A77, and on that one you had to punch through the paper to see the pots.

They've got to be in there somewhere!

On all my TEAC's and Tascam's it's been the bottom panel.
