Question for Larry Crane (or anybody) about RTZ 9762

Post by McPhaul » Mon Mar 13, 2006 4:46 pm

I read the review in TapeOp on this unit and have heard very little else about it. I have talked to the guys at Atlanta Pro Audio about it a little and they have said that it is basically a clone of the Great River MP-2NV. Is it? You have it listed on your website and in your ads for Jackpot! so I would assume that you like it. Can you or would you compare it to the Great River? I've got an API 3124+ and would like something Neve'ish to go with it. The price point on the RTZ unit puts it in my price range right now but if the Great River is worth the wait I'll keep waiting and saving.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
Will

Hey man...we've got two MP-2NV over here if you wanna come hear them sometime in the studio. They are great pres! We also have a Vintech 473...which is Neve-ish too. Hit me up sometime and you can swing by and hear for yourself.

I'm always up for a beer or two but don't know how much I'd add to the conversation. I am very much a home studio guy. Let me know if you get any more takers and I'm in if you get it going.
