CD extraction for OSX

Post by jessejamietig » Mon Apr 24, 2006 8:52 am

My company has recently moved over to OS X exclusively, which is good, but I'm having just a few problems. I had asked a while back on the messageboard about extracting audio from a CD and having it consolidated in to one file(tracks 1 -5 a single .aif or .wav). The unfortunate thing is this post was answered by MAZ I believe, but I can't find it using the search function. I was told there was a way to do it with itunes. Does anyone know what or how to do it?

I also need to know what people are using to export to real audio. Media cleaner 6 will not do it in osx.

Or, if someone knows how to do the above with a PC that would be fine as well.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks in advance.

DO you mean that you want to rip the whole CD as one file ?

If not, you can just drag the files from a CD by clicking on the CD like a hard drive, and dragging to a folder.

Yeah, that's exactly what I want to do. Astarde CD copy would let you extract the whole CD as a single file.
