$1k to spend today

Let's say you had approx $1k to spend on studio-related gear today (a mic, a piece of outboard gear, an instrument, etc) what would you buy?

A pair of AT4050's if I could get 'em that cheap.
These would fill my need for a good all-purpose reliable LDC and having a stereo pair of multipattern mics gives you a zillion configurations to choose from.

I'd probably go with a quality ribbon mic or maybe a fulltone tape echo.

Tough call.

Either a new motherboard combo with a UAD-1 for my DAW, or a nice channel strip.

Another Sytek MPX-4Aii.
Another pair of B&W 805 Matrix speakers.
A pair of small nickel-diaphragm omni mics.
An LA3A, if I could find one for a grand.
A few other esoteric mics, if they popped up.

-get my new studer 1/4" headstack properly setup and tweaked by JRF
-parts to recap my Studer psu and audio cards
-new caps for my Sunfire True MKII Sub
-get my Oktava ML-15s fixed
-new fans for my MOTU HD192s
-rack mountable SATA dual hotswap bay

idealistically:
-Beyer M160
-AT 4047

Yeah, I dodged this one for a while. Except when it came down to it, with all the cabling and tools and materials it actually came to $4000, not $1000. And was worth every damn penny too.

Hmmm...... Hard one! Maybe a Sytek and a Shinybox ribbon? Or one of those DAV mic pres that's been getting a lot of hype on Gearslutz (I record a lot of classical music, and it sounds perfect for that) and a pair of Shinyboxes? Or that used pair of 414s or new pair of 4050s I've been pining for? Or a couple of M160s? Or a used R121? Or a console?
