Tascam 3340 manual (or similar!)

Post by andrew embassy » Mon May 29, 2006 3:25 pm

Hey- anybody got a manual for one of these? I just bought the A-3340S model. It sounds fantastic with drums and my Korg MS-20...
HEY! Who forgot they bag?

If it's a 3340, it's a Teac. The Tascam version was 3440... Not to be picky about it, but it could make it easier to find on the web if you use the right manufacturer name....

I have both the owners manual and service manual. But I don't really want to sell them, since I still use my deck fairly regularly... And I'm a little squeamish about scanning them in, since they are copyrighted.

You can buy them at:
parts@teac.com
or
http://www.angelfire.com/electronic2/vi ... anual.html

I'd recommend using the Teac email link first. I've had good luck with them in the past - - I bought a belt for my 30 year old Teac C3 cassette deck from them a couple years ago.

I believe that I have a service manual for the 3340S that did not make it out the door when I sold my R to R. I will check tonight & post to this thread. If I do still have it, it will be very reasonable.

Yes, I do have an original (not a photocopy) TEAC A-3340S service manual!
It comes with an additional bonus, a complete parts list, complete with exploded diagrams, internal cable color codes for printed circuit boards, details for every printed circuit board & a couple 0 huge multi-fold schematics. Dis-assembly, alignment & adjustment both mechanical and electrical.......WOW!, Im about to sell myself on this thing!!!!! Its too cool!
Anyway...make me an offer.....or trade me something.....I take PayPal...I like crap!....or was that...I take crap..&..I lik PayPal.....something like that..
like I said, make me an offer.

Hey folks,

any chance someone has acquired a .pdf of the Operator's Manual for a TEAC 3340? I'd really appreciate it if someone could pass that along.

Thanks.
