George Benson's neve console on NY craigslist!

Post by ??????? » Wed Jun 21, 2006 1:12 pm

I don't know what's going on but GB has been selling off TONS of stuff on NY craigslist lately... Guitars that have been owned by Grant Green, Wes Montgomery, etc... and now this Neve console.

I'm not sure it's the hippest neve ever made but damn! I hope GB is okay.

I'd love to have it, I can only dream though.

Wow.
Weird one. I wonder if they are letting the 33609 in the meter bridge go with it.... hmm.....

isn't the 8128 the model that has some sort of wierd routing that's apparantly a nightmare for maintenance? i can't remember now...

I think the 81 series had some kind of "active" routing the extra components in the patchbay to achieve that and screw up the sound all at the same time.
