Is that a home studio or a professional studio?

Or did you have to sell your home to build that studio, so now it's your home?

Great place!

It is kind of home, but my full time job. The studio is in the building next to my house.

I made a gif of my control room. I dont record drums there, I just have to put them somewhere, the "drum room" is my living room according to my wife.

I liked Everybod's X Idea. I have animated Gifs for mics and such on my site but not the big images. I made one for here:

as far as my wife, I don't know why she thinks we bought the house, but how can you not put drums in here?

LOL yep Nice place for drums, better not scratch up those floors or you will be out in the lawn! And drums dont sound good on dirt floors.

Have you checked out my mods for the AKAI pres? A lot of ppl get them and only use the stock 12ax7 section, the best sounding part is the EF86 in there for tape playback. I add a tranny to it and use it for one pre and then use the 12ax7 for a pre/Di box. So you get 2 pres in each M7/M8

I want some of those theater chairs!! Those are cool.

I finally got my home studio setup. I live in an apartment, so I am sure the neighbors love me, but what ever. I have yet to bring in a drummer, so they should be happy about that.

Here's the room:

That's all I've got for now. I have to say it works for me so far. :) Enjoy.

It's funny, I have access to a pile of unassembled theater chairs that is quite literally taller than I am, but I had never even thought about grabbing a few to put in the control room until I saw those photos. I'm not quite sure how I missed that...

The only problem with them is that most kinds you get need to be bolted to the floor, and to each other, to have any kind of stability, so moving them around isn't much of an option. It would be a good look to grab a few office chairs to suppliment them for bands that are figety.
