this is probably a real silly question... but in my mix window... how do I get the meter level to go along with the fader?? I pull it all the way down and the audio changes but not the meter level... even when I mute a track... the meter's still showing signal... what's the problem here? thanks -scott

I don't know about version 7 but in older versions it was under the Operations menu labeled "Prefader Metering". It should be unchecked if you want the meter to reflect the fader postion.

I think...

thanks man... I actually figured it out... and in 7, it's under the options menu / pre-fader metering.... theres a bunch that's different in the menus of ver.7 at first I was looking all over the prefrences.. and couldn't find anything.. and it was right under my nose the whole time. thanks again
