I didn't name mine well at all...Get Reel Studios...it's stupid but I own the domain for the next 2 years so....I will probably change it after that though. I've also been trying to name my new band project for the last 6 months. It's a hard thing..naming stuff.

I bought into an existing business that I freelanced for... located in an old, run-down abattoir.
Just recently, as some may know, we built a new place. Turns out that the barn that we based the new place on was sometimes used for dressing deer(!) So the name is still apropo...

So I named mine "Beyond Sanity"

I had a roommate who sold vintage clothes on ebay.
Well, one day, he decided to put all his stuff on racks inside the house and open it up to the public. Kind of a self-made thrift store. He made flyers and for unknown reasons said it was at The Habitat. The name stuck.

heh, good stories!.. I refer to whichever room my gear finds itself in (sigh, moved back to my parents house this month) as "Computer Graphics".. Last year my brother scored me a mug with a pixellated flamingo in front of a nice 4-colour highway vista, with the words COMPUTER GRAPHICS emblazoned on the bottom edge. I dunno.. the idea of a studio with the word "graphics" in it cracked me up.

As soon as I get premises (hah) I'm going to do huge mural of polygon pterodactyls, chrome spheres, utah teapots, bouncing balls and checkerboard planes.

The Bunker is in a basement with 4 foot bluestone foundation walls... it is quite literally a bunker.... in an old factory.

Have/Hope Music- I live on the corner of Havemeyer and Hope Streets. But you need to have hope and music, right?

ALLCAPS is the universal symbol for YELLING in the cyber world.
Also a band I worked with for a long time insisted on always posting their name in ALL CAPS, it became a long running joke among the local band scene,
Seemed to fit the 90% metal I am recording here.

Just reading this thread I'm tempted to rename to "faux reel" productions. You know. 4 real.
