i did use the search function to check this topic out. but out of these 3 which one do you guys think is the best. by best i mean no tone suckage and a quality build. thanks!

the framptone

startouch

palmer

the framptone is the most expensive but i'm not averse to spending the money if it's the best. i know keeley makes top quality stuff.

Well, I use the Startouch and it sounds great to me (no tone suckage that I can tell - but I don't have good ears).

Tech support is A+.

When I bought the pedal I had a specific need for it. But that specific need never happened. I did not even hook the pedal up. I didn't send it back because I was sure I would need it one day.

Well, about a year and half later I needed it. I took it out of the box and hooked it up and it did not work correctly. I emailed Startouch and explained to them that I bought it over a year ago but never used it until now. I explained how I had it hooked up - that I checked all the cables, etc. He emailed back promptly to affirm that I was hooking it up correctly. He said I would need to send it in for repair.

I emailed him back about cost of parts and labor. He called me the next day and said parts/labor would be free if I paid for shipping. He asked a few more questions. While we were on the phone I hooked the pedal up like I always had and it worked perfectly (and has since then). Talk about customer service - they can diagnose and repair the pedal over the phone  .

Anyway, not trying to say Startouch sends out faulty products. The A/B+Y FootPedal ST2 I have is built like a tank and has served me well the last few months. Great small company with a quality product and great service.
