I just got this, and this is literally the first time I've gotten to test it but here's the results of a recent drum slam with a Valley People Dyna-Mite (1U rack mount edition):

I used the Stapes about 10' away and 10' apart from the kick drum. The stapes are the only things going through the compressor. There is a kick mic too, I think it was an Oktava MK319, but you don't notice it too much.
