Modding A Bellari RP220 Tube Pre?

Post by Derrick » Thu Nov 09, 2006 10:06 am

Hello, I was looking for information on modding a Bellari RP220 tube preamp. I know Black Lion will sell some instructions, but I gotta believe that they are on the net or some of you here have knowledge of mods. I am more then capable of the work, just need the mods...

These are supposed to be really quite nice with mods. I have swapped tubes and changed the crummy filter cap already.
Thanks!

You can change the opamps too. I forget what the replacement is-- AD 810 or something like that. I have a modded mp110, the single channel version.

Google it for newsgroup rec.audio.pro.

Monte McGuire wrote up mods for it years ago.
