First off, your image must have a web location; you can't just uplaod an image from your local drive. You can get this info by right clicking on an image and then selecting "Properties". Then just copy the "Address (URL)".
Meanwhile, back at the board: When you click "Post a Reply" and get to the screen where you can type your reply, notice that there is a row of gray buttons above the text box. They say things like
B and
i and
u. One of them is marked "Img". When you're ready to post your image, click on the "Img" button and it will insert
(or you can just type it).
Click the preview button below the text box to verify that your image is there and voila!

Nothing terribly fancy here. But we've got quantity for just a little project studio.

I have been considering getting a pair those C4s - what do you think of them? Sound OK?

I like them quite a bit, but I don't have enough years of doing this under my belt to compare/contrast with much reliability. But I will say I like them as overheads and on auxillary percussion and acoustic guitars (especially when doubled with a C1).

OK, I just had to try that mic out. It works fine, which was a bit of a surprise. Sounds a lot like the old Shure 51A, very mid-rangy vocal sound. Metal diaphragm dynamic, I think. I'm not really a "crazy room mic" guy, but I would guess that it would work for that.

i should probably mod that thing soon, although i'm not sure i'll get much further than popping an XLR onto it. I can only seem to find phantom power mod info for the older style ones.

I can't seem to get the photo to stay up there. Maybe it's too big.

What do you think of and how do you use the two brown shure mics? I found one of those going unused at church and they said I could have it.
