How do I open the connector on the mic end of the cable?

I've tried everything obvious...

Any secrets?

Did you remove the screw on the connector?

I don't see any screw...
I'll feel very silly if I've missed something that simple...

I'm talking about the black plastic Hirshmann 7 pin connector.
I'm sorry, I guess that end screws into the power supply.
I don't have it here, and was attempting to work from memory.

Thanks again.

i can't offer anything useful here (SORRY), but when you get this sorted out, please post some of that info! I know i'd DEFINITELY like to know the pin out to make a better cable for this mic!

Hi James,
The back-shell just unscrews from the front(pins) section.
Total of 4 parts: strain relief, backshell, rubber grommet, front section.
I took a picture, but I am having trouble getting it to insert...

Thanks to Mike Joly for trying to help.

-1 to Oktava-online for not helping...
