If it doesn't have more than 4 pres or a significant boost in simultaneous inputs, I'm probably just going to send my 002R and get the BlackLion mod. It'd be cheaper and do me just as well.

There are so many people anticipating this, in so many facets of the industry. I'm tempted to buy Avid stock, now. If it's cool, maybe I'd make enough to pick one up.

I hope it's 32-bit, 192khz. 64-tracks internal with the software and I'll be happy with only 16 ins and outs.

And it has to cost less than $200 and come bundled with $3500 worth of plug-ins.

How many more inputs do you need? Doesn' the digi002r have 18 simultaneous inputs?

I might be in the minority, but I'd rather not pay for mic pres I'm not going to use and take one with absolutely none. I wish they'd make that version with just line and optical inputs.

That's why i have loved my $200 m-audio delta 1010 for so long. The money i didnt spend on an 002 makes me smile everytime i think about it.
