boombox with rca ins?

looking for a cheapo boombox with rca ins so i can use to check mixes...anyone have one theyd care to recommend?

I found one at a thrift store for $2. Best bang for the buck. It was a piece of crap, but nice reassurance to hear a mix through.

good luck finding any boom box made after 1985 with RCA line ins, tho.

Actually pretty much all boomboxes in the early 90's had rca ins...I owned at least 3 or 4 of them back then...Anyhow just go to a thrift store and you'll find something there....

Yeah, you'll find 'em for no $$ at all at thrift stores...

Look for ones with a broken cassette mechanism....

Detachable speakers are nice to have so you can spread 'em apart a little bit...

Sony makes one called the "Heavy Duty CD Radio ZS-H10CP". It has line inputs, but on stereo 1/8" not RCA.

You could always find one with a working cassette player, and use a cassette-to-1/8" stereo plug adapter. Or working FM receiver, and use an FM transmitter.

thats exactly what i will do with the boom box that i have now.
