I've been running 10.3 on my 1.25 G4 w / PT LE 6.9 for a while now.
Well now pro tools won't open...or it will but the second I try to access anything useful, it freezes. Which brings me to my question.
I wonder if now might be a good time to move to 10.4 and PT 7.3 or whatever still supports the G4 - OR if the old G4 would be too bogged down to run the newer mac os and PT. I know that software companies are prone to bloat each step of the process...
Anyone out there running an older mac w/ newer os and newer Pro Tools? Any problems? or should i just wipe the slate clean and reinstall 10.3 and PT 6.9?
should I upgrade?
