PTLE 7.3 and a Mackie HUI

Just wondering if this will work. I'm running PTLE 7.3 on a Macbook pro and I'm thinking about picking up an old Mackie HUI to use as a control surface. I'm thinking that this will work via midi at very least. Anyone out there working with one of these things? What do you think?

It works, I use it. You'll need to download the "Unsupported MIDI Controllers" file from the digi website. They have a H.U.I. driver in that bundle.
